French REIT Société Foncière Lyonnaise has acquired an office building located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris from Eurosic for €68 mln, including transfer costs.
The 6,000 m2 office building at 9 avenue Percier in the heart of the Central Business District is principally leased to the EDF Foundation (31%).
'This transaction confirms our determination to invest in Parisian ‘prime’ properties, whether core or value-added, that enable our teams to extract their full potential by adapting them to the needs of the market and of our potential customers. This asset will also enable us to propose a high-quality alternative to our major business complexes located in the neighbourhood,' commented Aude Grant, head of transactions and business strategy at SFL.
The buyer was advised by the law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Oudot & Associés and the seller was advised by Cheuvreux.
