The German Architecture Museum selected the projects from more than 1,000 new high-rises worldwide dating from the past two years.

Four of the towers are in Europe, of which two in Frankfurt/Main – the Senckenberg Quartier (architects: Cyrus Moser Architekten) and One (Meurer Architekten).

The other two are in Vienna - TrIIIple Towers (Henke Schreieck Architekten) and London - One Crown Place (Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates).

The five finalists will be revealed in the autumn, while the winner will be presented in Frankfurt/Main on 8 November at an event jointly organised with the City of Frankfurt/Main and DekaBank.

The International High-Rise Award aims to recognise architects and developers whose buildings are at least 100 meters in height and were completed over the past two years.

It distinguishes a high-rise that combines sustainability, external design, and internal use of space, in full consideration of social and urban planning-related aspects, while also taking into account innovative engineering and cost-effectiveness.
