Foruminvest Italia, the Italian arm of Dutch commercial property investor Foruminvest, said it is set to inaugurate its second Italian shopping centre on March 1 in Molfetta in the southern Italian region of Apulia.
The Granshopping Mongolfiera mall in Molfetta is a single-level mall comprising 42,000 m2, with some 110 stores, a 7,000 m2 Ipercoop hypermarket and 2,700 parking spaces. The shopping centre will be the largest in Apulia. Key tenants include Mediaworld, Footlocker, Zara, H&M, OVS, Cisalfa, Stradivarius, Almaplena and Bershka.
The Granshopping Mongolfiera inauguration follows that of Foruminvest Italia’s 36,000 m2 Gran Sasso shopping centre in November 2007. Foruminvest Italia is planning on opening a third shopping centre near Naples known as Gran Shopping Le Fragole and comprising over 35,000 m2 of retail space and restaurants, in the fourth quarter of 2009.
