Dutch developer Foruminvest’s Italian arm has acquired a plot of land of 11,500 m2 for the development of a new hotel located next to the international terminal of Milan Malpensa Airport, Italy’s second largest airport.
The land was purchased from Villa Carmen Srl, a joint venture between Schiphol Real Estate, Finiper and Michele Molina CM.
Accor - through its partner Amapa - will manage the new hotel under the Tribe brand, a lifestyle division of Accor.
The hotel will house 240 rooms, including 10 suites, a fitness center, meeting rooms, a restaurant and bar on the ground floor and a swimming pool on the roof terrace as well as 130 parking spaces.
Construction begins in the second quarter of 2022 and the hotel is expected to open in the fourth quarter to be opened in 2023.
