Mayfair Capital Investment Management has appointed William Hill, the former head of property at Schroders, as a non-executive director.

Mayfair Capital Investment Management has appointed William Hill, the former head of property at Schroders, as a non-executive director.

Hill will support the other members of the Mayfair Capital board to develop the business. He will also assist in enhancing the firm’s corporate governance and in expanding its relationships within the investor community.

Hill joined Schroders in 1989 and began his investment career in 1985 after qualifying as a chartered surveyor with Drivers Jonas. He stepped down as head of property at Schroders at the end of October last year.

A past chairman of the Association of Real Estate Funds, Hill is a member of the BPF Finance Committee, sits on the Investment Advisory Committee of the Goldsmiths Company and is a director of the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust.
