Savills Investment Management has appointed former Pradera directors Neil Varnham and Richard Gore as executive directors to strengthen the company's expansion in European investment and asset management.
Varnham previously held senior roles at Henderson Global Investors and Pradera. In particular, he has a long history of launching and managing pan-European funds and was responsible for developing and managing large-scale assets such as the Bullring site in Birmingham and portfolios such as a £1.5 bn (€1.9 bn) European outlet mall portfolio.
Gore is also a former Pradera director and has over 30 years of retail experience in the industry, with previous employers including Block Holdings and Capital & Regional. Gore was responsible for numerous retail developments, including the development of the award-winning Glasgow Fort Shopping Park in the UK.
Savills IM currently has several retail-focused funds and over €6 bn of retail assets under management.
