Lisette van Doorn has been appointed the new European CEO of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), succeeding Joe Montgomery who stepped down in June to pursue other opportunities.

Lisette van Doorn has been appointed the new European CEO of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), succeeding Joe Montgomery who stepped down in June to pursue other opportunities.

Van Doorn, formerly CEO of European non-listed property fund organisation INREV from July 2005 – November 2009, is to take up her new role in January, well-informed sources told PropertyEU.

In May 2013 Van Doorn established LIRE, an independent consultancy that provides strategy, organisation optimising and portfolio analysis for real estate fund managers and institutional investors. Prior to that she was country manager for Italy at CBRE Global Investors from December 2009 to 2013. From February 2001 to June 2005, Van Doorn was managing director of research and strategy at ING Real Estate Investment Management.

Overall, Van Doorn has 13 years of experience in European institutional real estate investment management.
