Nathalie Palladitcheff has joined Canadian property company Ivanhoé Cambridge as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Palladitcheff was until recently acting CEO of French REIT Icade following the departure in March of chairman and chief executive Serge Grzybowski. His position has since been filled by Olivier Wignolle, who previously headed Allianz Real Estate’s French business.

Palladitcheff had been in charge of finance, legal affairs and information technology at Icade since 2007. In 2010, she also assumed responsibility for the property services division. Icade has assets under management of about €9 bn and more than 1,600 employees. Prior to Icade, Palladitcheff was managing director of Dolmea Real Estate, a subsidiary of AXA Group with a portfolio of around €730 mln specialising in residential properties in the Ile-de-France region.

‘Nathalie Palladitcheff has extensive experience in the real estate industry, having worked for major public and private companies, such as Icade, Dolmea Real Estate and Société Foncière Lyonnaise,’ said Daniel Fournier, chairman and CEO of Ivanhoé Cambridge. ‘Her international experience in transactions, finance and corporate matters is precisely what we were looking for to help us realize our growth ambitions on a global scale.’

Ivanhoé Cambridge is the real estate subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, one of Canada's leading institutional fund managers. The company had assets totalling more than CAD$ 42 bn (€31.5 bn) at end-2014, located mainly in Canada, the US, Europe, Brazil, Mexico and Asia.

Palladitcheff will move to Montreal with her family to take up her new duties.
