US fashion chain Forever 21 has announced it will open its first store in the Netherlands in the third quarter of 2013.
The flagship store, located on Amsterdam's leading high street Kalverstraat, has a surface area of 4,500 m2 divided over five levels. The building, which formerly comprised office and retail space, is currently being redeveloped by owner Emmes Group Rokin Plaza.
Forever 21 was advised by UK firm Harper Dennis Hobbs. Emmes Group was advised by Dutch law firm Boekel de Nereé.
Founded in 1984, Forever 21 is one of the biggest fashion retailers in the US. The chain has more than 500 stores worldwide and is currently expanding its presence in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
