French property developer Fonciere Atland has begun construction of its Urban valley business park in Cormeilles-en-Parisis, a northwestern suburbs of Paris. The project, designed by architects Monique Labbé, Matali Crasset and Eco-R d'Isabelle Hurpy, covers an area of three hectares and will consist of seven office buildings with spaces ranging from 1,500 to 3,000 m[sup]2[/sup].

The first 3,000 m2 asset has already been leased to FagorBrandt with a six-year rental contract, and will be delivered to the tenant in January 2010, the company said. Fonciere Atland is a real estate investment trust active in the Ile de France region. The French investor and developer has a real estate portfolio worth some EUR 113 mln.
