One Bessborough Gardens

Situated in the City of Westminster, the four-storey site, which overlooks Bessborough Gardens and the River Thames, is a former office building spanning 70,000 ft2 (6,500 m2).

Firethorn acquired the asset in June 2024, with the intention of converting the site into a modern and sustainable residential development under its living portfolio.

Work is expected to start on site in early 2025, with completion due in 2026.

Marcus Weeks, director and head of living at Firethorn Trust, commented: 'One Bessborough Gardens is a landmark site in our Living portfolio.

'This is a fantastic example of how the strength of our experience and the quality of our in-house planning capabilities enables us to move forward at pace on high-profile projects of this scale.

'Having worked closely with Westminster Council, we are delighted to have received the green light on our proposal to create premium accommodation within a prestigious central London postcode. We look forward to the next steps in bringing this vision to life.'
