Finnish retail specialist City Kauppapaikat Oy has bought a portfolio of 18 properties in eight cities across the country.
The Reindeer portfolio is mainly located in university cities and CBD locations. The bulk of the assets are located in Lappeenranta, a city 30 km from the Russian border, including the Weera and Armada shopping centres.
The total lettable area of the portfolio is approximately 60,000 m2 and the tenant mix includes well-known retail and hotel industry chains.
Catella advised the sellers in cooperation with Hatfield Philips, a subsidiary of New York-listed Starwood Property Trust. Financial details were not disclosed.
