Helsinki-based office investment firm Antilooppi has appointed Esa Mattila as its new head of asset management.

Mattila joins the company from Barings Real Estate Advisers, where he was responsible for the company's Finnish portfolio. Antilooppi said he had been selected for his broad experience in commercial real estate management and development in the shopping centre and office sectors.
'His diverse experience from real estate, both from the investor and occupier side alike, supports Antilooppi’s goal of being a customer-oriented, long-term real estate investor,' said CEO Tuomas Sahi.
Antilooppi, owned by Finnish pension fund Ilmarinen and Swedish peer AMF Pensionsförsäkring, holds property in the Helsinki metropolitan area with a total lettable area of 320,000 m2. The portfolio includes Finnair's headquarters near Helsinki-Vantaa airport and Nokia's headquarters in Espoo Karaportti.
