French REIT Foncière des Régions has bought the Liberté et Coupole office complex in Charenton-le-Pont, just outside of Paris, from Groupe BPCE's investment management arm Natixis for €162 mln.
French REIT Foncière des Régions has bought the Liberté et Coupole office complex in Charenton-le-Pont, just outside of Paris, from Groupe BPCE's investment management arm Natixis for €162 mln.
Vendor Natixis will occupy the 38,000 m2 complex through a nine-year fixed lease.
The building will accommodatesnearly 2,000 employees and includes various services such as a company restaurant, cafeteria, gym, 300 m2 of terrace, 562 parking areas, as well as meeting and reception rooms.
'This acquisition is a perfect illustration of the strategy of Foncière des Régions, which consists of developing long-term real estate partnerships with key accounts, as well as our ability to understand their challenges and support them with the day-to-day management of their projects,' said Olivier Estève, deputy general manager of Foncière des Régions.
The deal was brokered by Credit Foncier Immobilier under a joint mandate with JLL.
FdR owns a portfolio valued at €16 bn located in France, Germany and Italy. The group is the landlord for a number of major corporates such as Suez Environnement, Thales, Dassault Systèmes, Orange, EDF, IBM, and Eiffage.
