Fonciere Developpement Logements (FDL) is acquiring two portfolios with more than 1,000 residential units from Generali and Fonciere des Regions for a total of EUR 314 mln, excluding taxes. Additionally, the company said that it has agreed on four development projects for an additional EUR 47 mln.

FDL is buying 385 housing units from Generali for EUR 196 mln. The French company said that the assets generate a rental income of EUR 8.8 mln per annum. FDL is also purchasing a portfolio including some 634 residentail units for another EUR 117 mln. The assets are across Metz, Strasbourg, Lyon, Toulouse, and Bordeaux. Net income comes to an annual EUR 5.5 mln. FDL added that it is carrying out four development projects to refurbish some 200 housing units across Lyon, Asnieres and Bordeaux.
The company's portfolio is currently valued at some EUR 3.5 bn, of which about EUR 1 bn is located in France, with the rest mainly situated in Germany.
