The first F&F fashion brand stand-alone store opened in central Prague at the end of September. The 500-m2 store in Palladium shopping centre is a world first for the brand.
F&F offers both ladies' and men's fashion, and plans on launching a children's collection in the future as well. The brand is owned by Tesco, the world's third largest retail chain. Cushman & Wakefield arranged for the lease of the outlet in the Palladium shopping centre.
The F&F brand resulted from the decision to market fashion separately from other goods.
Central European Clothing Director, Jason Tarry said: We've taken the next step in the development of the F&F brand. We're really excited about this new channel and we see a lot of potential in bringing our clothing ranges to more customers in this new format.'
'F&F sought an attractive location to launch the first outlet. We found it together and managed to meet the occupier's requirements. The Palladium is linked directly to Prague's most popular high street location, Na Prikope and is sought after by both Czech customers and tourists. The success of the first outlet will determine the brand's expansion into other areas within as well as outside of the Czech Republic,' said Jonathan Hallett, Cushman & Wakefield'
s managing partner in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.
Palladium shopping centre opened in October 2007 as part of the mixed use redevelopment in the prime Prague shopping district.
