Fabian Romania Fund has raised EUR 40 mln by placing 29.62 million shares with institutional investors at EUR 1.35 a share on London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market (AIM). The company, which said it is the first property fund on AIM to invest exclusively on real estate in Romania, now has a market capitalisation of EUR 68.6 mln. Director Mark Holdsworth said the property market in Romania offers 'excellent opportunity' for investors both in the UK and mainland Europe.
