Fabege signs Stockholm office leases

Swedish property company Fabege has signed significant leasing deals for office space at Regeringsgatan-Lästmakargatan in central Stockholm with Nordic investment bank Carnegie and life assurance and pension provider Max Matthiessen.

Carnegie is to take 9,000 m2, plus 1,000 m² of storage space, for 10 years, while its Max Matthiessen unit is leasing 4,500 m² for five years. The rent for the office space is SEK 3,800 (EUR 405.2) per m² per annum, excluding supplements. The buildings located at Lästmakargatan 22-24 and Regeringsgatan 56 will be thoroughly redeveloped and extended before Carnegie and Matthiessen move in during the third and fourth quarters, respectively, of 2009.
