Swedish listed real estate company Fabege has divested 16 properties for SEK 1.3 bn (about EUR 148 mln). The buyer is local investor Profi Fastigheter II.
The portfolio consists of 110,000 m2 of office, warehouse and industrial space, most of which is located outside Fabege's main markets of Stockholm's inner city, Solna and Hammarby Sjöstad. The transfer of ownership will take place on 12 January 2011.
'We are delighted to have implemented this transaction, which has freed up resources for investments in our prioritised areas. As a result, Fabege has in principle streamlined its portfolio to the Stockholm inner city market segments of Solna Business Park, Arenastaden in Solna and Hammarby Sjöstad,' said Klaus Hansen Vikström, director of business development at Fabege.
