Swedish property company Fabege said on Wednesday it has let about 4,200 m2 of its Getingen 15 property in central Stockholm to the Swedish Schools Inspectorate, a new government agency set to start operations in October. The lease runs for four years and the annual rental value is about SEK 10mln (EUR 1mln).

Fabege owns five properties with a total lettable floor area of 77,000 m2 in the Norrtull/Norra Station area, where the Getingen 15 property is located.

'The Norra Station development area, which is attractively located at the entrance to Stockholm's inner city, is undergoing extensive redevelopment and renewal, and we have noticed a growing interest in the area. Since last spring we have let out 13,500 m2 in the area,' Silvia Samuelsson, Fabege's property manager for Stockholm city, said.
