FA agrees €674m sale of London Wembley stadium

Khan, an American businessman and the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars team, has been in talks to acquire the stadium, known as England’s 'home of football', from the FA since April, according to UK press reports.

The two sides have agreed an outline deal in recent days, but the terms have to be approved by the FA’s 10-member board at a meeting taking place today.

FA chief executive Martin Glenn and chairman Greg Clarke reportedly want unanimous backing from the board in order to take the proposal forward.
