The Trias building in Leipzig, developed by developer Formart, has been awarded a DGNB Silver certificate for sustainability at EXPO REAL.

A subsidiary of German construction company Hocthief, Formart was acquired earlier this week by ActivumSG.The DGNB is Germany´s sustainable building council.

Trias has a heat recovery system and an ‘intelligent’ shade concept to conserve energy.

Stefan Brunsch, of Formart Leipzig, said, ´The DGNB Silver certificate is a great affirmation of our work. Our real estate is designed to conserve resources. These buildings not only make a major contribution to climate protection, but also reduce building operation costs over the long term.´
