ECE has revealed the new interior of the 26,000 m2 City Passage mall in Bielefeld, central Germany.
The asset was bought by the ECE European Prime Shopping Centre Fund in 2011. ECE has been managing the site and on Tuesday announced its refurbishment plans.
´We are confident that, with this modernisation, we can enhance the inner city area surrounding Bahnhofstrasse and can entice even more visitors from the surrounding region to come,´ said mayor Pit Clausen.
The new design is intended to reflect the historical significance of linen to the area, while creating a modern space for 100 shops.
'Having successfully taken over the management of the property, we now focus on converting the shopping gallery into a state-of-the-art shopping world,' said Alexander Otto, CEO of ECE.
