Exhibitor numbers have increased again at the Expo Real trade fair, rising roughly 2% year-on-year from 1,655 last year to 1,692 in the 2015 edition, planned for October 5-7 in Munich.
Exhibitor numbers have increased again at the Expo Real trade fair, rising roughly 2% year-on-year from 1,655 last year to 1,692 in the 2015 edition, planned for October 5-7 in Munich.
Taking place straight after the Oktoberfest in Munich, Expo Real will boast exhibitors from 33 countries including the UK, which this year has taken a new pavillion.
The top 10 countries of origin among exhibitors are as follows: Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, the UK, Romania, Luxembourg, the US, France and the Russian Federation.
In total, foreign exhibitors represent 23% of the total.
Exhibitor numbers are up particularly from countries such as the Netherlands, Austria, Romania and Sweden. Two new exhibitors from Russia are Ulmart, the country's leading e-commerce company, and Ikea Russia.
Last year the fair saw a total of 36,900 visitors from 74 countries.
