Meininger Hotels and Hirotani Projektgesellschaft have signed a contract for a new hotel in the German town of Heidelberg.
The agreement was announced during the Expo Real trade fair in Munich.
The opening of the first Meininger hotel in Heidelberg is planned for the beginning of 2019 with a lease term of 20 years. The hotel will be located at the Carl-Benz-street 4-6 close to the central station. The new hotel will offer 336 beds in 100 rooms on 5 floors.

Meiningeroperates 16 budget hotels in Europe, with a total of 7,025 beds in 10 European cities.
