UK investment bank Evan Randalls is actively seeking joint venture partners to buy 'super trophy' real estate investments over the coming year in the wake of its joint purchase last month of the Gherkin in London for EUR 950 mln. The joint venture route will enable the company to acquire substantial interests in some of the largest and most prestigious buildings in Europe, the company said in a press release. Evans Randall acquired the Gherkin through a 50:50 joint venture with German-based IVG Immobilien.
