Estrel's owner and principal, Ekkehard Streletzki, plans to build the 50-storey Estrel Tower which will offer 700 extra hotel rooms at the 33,000 m2 scheme at Sonnenallee 228 in Berlin-Neukölln.
In addition, the company filed a planning application for a second convention and event hall at the address of Ziegrastrasse 15-19. The project will directly border on the existing convention and event centre.

The planned investment volume for the new complex has been put at €20 mln. Construction is scheduled to start in 2014, with the first phase to be completed by October 2014, and the second by summer 2015.
