Logistics real estate is attracting a wider group of investors given its stable income profile. But the question of where investors, new or familiar to the sector, should put their equity remains an open one - which will be addressed by a panel of leading experts at the European Logistics Investment Briefing next week in Munich.

Turkey, could be one answer. The country tops the list of emerging logistics locations in the EMEA region, according to Jones Lang LaSalle's inaugural survey of European supply chain managers.

Property advisor Colliers International recently tipped sale-and-leaseback activity in the industrial/logistics space in Central and Eastern Europe.

Poland is in vogue for development. Global sale-and-leaseback specialist W.P. Carey is providing financing for a light-industrial asset being developed by Panattoni in Zary, while integrated distribution property firm Goodman has launched its flagship Pomeranian Logistics Centre development in the port city of Gdañsk.

Money is also being channelled into the sector in Western Europe. Goodman has begun a turn-key project in Puurs, Belgium and New York-listed distribution space giant Prologis acquired a 38,600 m2 distribution centre near Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

To help make sense of where best to invest, PropertyEU has brought together a panel of high-powered industry specialists for the European Logistics Investment Briefing at Expo Real in Munich next week.

The speakers' line-up for the discussion and networking event includes Philip Dunne, President, Europe, Prologis; Jean Lavieille, Deputy Chief Investment Officer, AEW Europe; James Markby, Head of Industrial & Logistics Investment, CBRE; Steffen Ricken, MD Institutional Funds, IVG Immobilien AG and Ian Worboys, CEO, PointPark Properties.

The investment briefing takes place from 16.15 to 17.45 in the Networking Lounge at EXPO Real (Hall A1, Stand 440). Click on the link below to register free-of-charge
