The English Residential Land Partnership, a joint venture between Europa Capital and St Congar Land, has completed the purchase of the HSBC Training Facility to the south of St Albans in Hertfordshire, England. Financial details were not disclosed.

The site extends to over 73 hectares, and includes around 6 hectares of previously developed land, providing over 23,000 m2 of training centre accommodation, a sports centre with associated pitches and courts and a number of residential properties.

The English Residential Land Partnership is to assess the options for the site over the coming months.

Rob Sim, partner of Europa Capital, said 'This is an exceptional site which offers numerous opportunities and complements the other purchases made in our land platform.'

The English Residential Land Partnership was created to acquire and promote residential and mixed-use land predominantly across Southern England.

Real estate fund manager Europa Capital is a member of The Rockefeller Group. Since 1995, Europa Capital's principals have collectively raised six real estate funds and committed to over 70 transactions totalling some EUR 7 BN across 17 European countries.

St Congar Land was established by Miff Chichester and Steve Taylor to run the acquisition and asset management of the land platform.
