James Fortescue has become managing partner at Ebrington Capital, an independent investment manager investing in direct deals for private and institutional capital targeting repositioning of urban assets in the UK and Europe.

Fortescue joined Europa in 2008 having been a senior surveyor at CBRE in London. He was responsible for acquisitions and asset management of office and industrial property in the UK, Ireland, and the Benelux region.

Ebrington Capital was founded by Ed Bellhouse to deliver core-plus and value-add returns, and says it has a strong belief that Climate Change issues and ESG legislation will accelerate the obsolescence of buildings.

Peter Hudson and Rupert Bowen Jones are co-founders.
