Europa Capital, on behalf of Europa Fund IV, has announced the launch of its logistics warehousing site to the west of Prague which will be called 'Westgate Park Rudna'.
The site is situated at the first exit of the D5 highway, which leads west to Plzen and Germany and east to the Prague ring road.
Westgate Park Rudna includes an existing warehouse building constructed in 1997 that provides 32,000 m2, including 13,000 m2 of dry storage space with 10-metre clear heights, 7,600 m2 of fully equipped modern chilled and frozen areas and 6,000 m2 of office space. The building will soon be comprehensively refurbished in order to provide a flexible modern first class facility.
In addition, there are 15 hectares of development land, with a valid planning permit in place allowing for an additional 34,000 m2 of new, high quality warehousing. A separate self contained plot of land provides further potential for 20,000 m2 of new warehousing or retail warehouse space.
Charnwood has been appointed as the local asset manager with a mandate from Europa to implement all aspects of the project business plan.
