European real estate fund manager Europa Capital has started the development of an industrial and logistics park in Romania in a joint venture with Spanish-owned developer Graells & Llonch.

Located in Turda, 31 kilometres from the city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Industrial & Logistic Park Turda will provide a total of over 545,000 m2 of industrial and logistic space representing an investment of around EUR 200 mln. The project is owned by Europa Capital's Europa Emerging Europe Fund.

Industrial & Logistic Park Turda will include a range of warehouses for acquisition or lease including logistics and distribution warehouses, production facilities for light industry and manufacturing as well as build-to-suit buildings to be delivered at the request of the customers. The park will also provide land that is fully serviced, including utilities, for companies that prefer to develop their own warehouses and will be offered development support.

The park will also benefit from the creation of a dedicated public bus service to connect the Park to Turda city, which has been approved by the Turda City Halll.
