Pan-European real estate investment manager Europa Capital has announced the expansion of its private capital markets team with the appointment of Ian Currie as director.
'We continue to see wide-ranging and substantive real estate opportunities in Europe and Ian’s appointment will significantly strengthen our private capital markets team as we further expand our European footprint and investor base,' said Schalk Visser, partner and head of private capital markets at Europa Capital.
'He also joins us as we increasingly work alongside Mitsubishi Estate’s global affiliates: TA Realty based in Boston; PA Realty in Singapore; and MJIA in Japan to support cross-border client relations and underpin international capital raising initiatives,' Visser added.
Currie assumes the newly created position having most recently specialised in capital raising at Nuveen Real Estate, formerly TH Real Estate. He was previously with Grosvenor Group.
