Pan-European real estate investment manager Europa Capital’s Europa Diversified Income Fund (EDIF) core fund has been admitted to the INREV Open End Diversified Core Equity (ODCE) Fund Index.
The INREV ODCE Index covers the performance of the ODCE institutional non-listed real estate funds with investments in multiple sectors across Europe.
Funds must comply with strict eligibility criteria for four consecutive quarters in a row to be included in the index.
Besides fulfilling the inclusion criteria, EDIF also met the governance and reporting standards.
Andy Watson, partner & fund manager at Europa Capital, commented: ‘Joining the INREV ODCE Index is a major milestone for EDIF and we look forward to participating alongside our peers in the Index in addition to generating additional transparency for our existing and future investor clients.’
Lonneke Löwik, INREV CEO added: 'We’re delighted that Europa Capital’s Europa Diversified Income Fund has joined the INREV ODCE Index.
'Our ongoing ambition is to strengthen and broaden the quality of the Index in order to offer our members the most comprehensive and transparent view possible of this key part of the European non-listed real estate market.’
At the end of Q4 2021, the Index included 14 funds and had a gross asset value (GAV) of over €40 bn, a record quarterly performance since its launch.
With a portfolio of 16 assets across France, Germany, The Netherlands and Denmark, EDIF’s GAV is approaching €500 mln, of which two-thirds are in the logistics and residential sectors offering the strongest rental growth prospects.
The fund focuses on futureproofing its portfolio through ESG and decarbonisation initiatives and ensuring resilient income generation and continued liquidity.
