Pan-European real estate investor Europa Capital has appointed Simon Mitchell to the newly created role of construction project manager.
In his new role, Mitchell will oversee construction activities across the Europa Diversified Income Fund (EDIF), ensuring projects are in line with the company’s sustainable development & ESG strategy, in addition to implementing best practice in construction, supplier and contract management.
He will report to Europa Capital’s head of sustainability and development, Lynn Smith.
Commenting on his appointment, Mitchell said he looked forward to working with a firm ‘that has a considerable number of exciting projects taking place across Europe, including residential developments in the UK and Denmark and an office refurbishment in Budapest.’
As chartered quantity surveyor, Mitchell has around ten years of project management experience in the UK and Europe across the residential, offices, mixed use, hotels and student accommodation sectors.
He joins Europa Capital from Quartz Project Services.
