In a statement, ELCP said that it plans to develop over 80,000 m2 of logistics space on the site. Financial details were not disclosed.

'The acquisition of this plot of land is a milestone,' commented CEO James Markby. 'It is one of the few final plots available, with the capacity to house a new building of this size. It will allow ELCP to offer our clients competitive incomes for a large-scale, turnkey logistics project that services Spain, and Madrid in particular.'

Cushman & Wakefield advised ELCP on the deal.
