Kiev-based company Eurasia-Ukraine has received a EUR 75.6 mln loan from German property lender Eurohypo to refinance the acquisition of the Iceberg Business Centre in Kiev. Eurasia-Ukraine purchased the business centre in May 2007 for EUR 104 mln.

According to the terms of the deal, the loan is for a period of six years. The loan was disbursed in a single tranche on 6 March, 2008. 'This is our pilot deal in Ukraine,' Andreas Madlung, director for Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Baltic States at Eurohypo said in a statement. 'This country is one of the most promising economies in Eastern Europe, which makes it important for our bank.'
