Bulgaria's European Trade Centre has announced the leasing of 30,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of office space in its ETC business park development in Sofia. The developer has leased around 23,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of space to the Bulgarian telecom operator Vivacom and a further 7,000 m[sup]2[/sup] to the French supermarket chain Carrefour. The tenants are expected to move into the building on completion of the complex in January 2010, according to newspaper Dnevnik.

The company said that the operation with Vivacom is the largest office lease in the Bulgarian market so far this year. The ETC management expects the rest of the building to be fully rented by the end of March 2010.
The ETC business park will consist of five class-A office buildings with a total area of 70 000 m2. Colliers International was appointed as exclusive consultant on the project, which involves a development cost of about EUR 70 mln.
