Essensys, a provider of software-as-a-service and technology platforms to the flexible workspace and commercial real estate industries, has appointed Sarah Harvey to the board of directors as chief financial officer (CFO) of the group.
Harvey joins from Virgin Media O2, where she most recently held the role of operations finance director.
She is an experienced finance professional, having qualified as a chartered accountant in 2002 with PwC, and latterly was a director in their transaction services, capital markets team, leading all aspects of listed company transactions including acquisitions, disposals, IPOs and fund-raisings.
Harvey has spent the last five years in a number of senior roles within Telefonica UK (now Virgin Media O2), including as commercial finance director and two years as CFO of giffgaff where she oversaw significant revenue and profit growth.
Alan Pepper, previously CFO and chief operating officer (COO), has now assumed the newly created stand-alone role of COO. He remains a member of the group's board of directors.
