Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Eric van Dyck as chair of its EMEA Capital Markets business as the firm continues to drive growth across the region.

Capital markets specialist Van Dyck re-joins Cushman & Wakefield from Dutch retail specialist Redevco which he joined in 2010 first as COO and latterly as Chief Investment Officer.

He was at Cushman & Wakefield previously for 27 years, serving as the managing partner for Belgium and as a board member. Van Dyck, who takes up his new position on 12 February, will continue as a non-executive board member at Leasinvest.
 
In his new role, he will support Jan-Willem Bastijn, head of EMEA Capital Markets, in structuring the expanding business, supporting key clients and tracking capital flows. He will be based in London but work across the EMEA region.
