eQ Community Properties Fund has acquired a healthcare portfolio in Oulu, Finland, from the local municipality for €166 mln.
The portfolio consists of six public-use healthcare properties (namely six hospital, healthcare centre and care home properties), which are located in Oulu. Additionally, the portfolio comprises two parking facilities adjoining the assets.
The assets are leased on a long term basis to the City of Oulu.
The buyer, eQ Community Properties Fund, is the largest domestic community and care property fund in Finland, with a market value of €1.9 bn.
The transaction is expected to close during June 2022.
