The award was presented today at the annual Epra conference in Stockholm. In total 92 European real estate companies competed for the award. British Land scored the highest number of absolute points.
This year's winner scored 70 out of a total of 110 points, Van Ommeren noted. 'There is still plenty of room for improvement.' He added that there were big differences between countries. 'The UK still scores best and the Netherlands comes next.' Size also matters, he said. 'The best companies are the biggest.'
