Polish property group Echo Polska Properties (EPP) has purchased a shopping centre in Inowroclaw from a company owned by Libra Project and Acteeum Group for €55.4 mln.
The 23,500 m2 Galeria Solna, which opened in May 2013, is fully leased to a range of tenants including a Tesco hypermarket, CCC, H&M, Reserved, Rossmann, Martes Sport, Deichmann, Smyk, Empik and Media Markt.
'We are excited to add another regionally dominant centre to our portfolio which advances our claim of building a Polish retail property champion,' commented EPP CEO Hadley Dean. 'In the last nine months, we have added seven retail acquisitions meaning we have now 16 major retail locations across Poland.'
The BREEAM certified centre includes 1000 parking spaces and direct access to the city's spa area.
The deal follows another recent EPP acquisition, the €141.6 mln purchase of three retail centres: Twierdza Klodzko, Twierdza Zamosc and Wzorcownia in Wloclawek.
Colliers International, Dentons law firm, Deloitte, APP Projekt were EPP’s advisors in the deal.
JLL and Baker McKenzie law firm represented the seller.
