Duo complete £315m debut City deals - PROPERTY WEEK
Downtown Properties, the US arm of Hong Kong investment manager Gaw Capital Partners, has completed the acquisition of Vintners Place on Upper Thames Street, London for £150 mln (EUR 186 mln), a yield of around 7%. The vendor was US opportunity fund manager Atlas Capital. Separately, Lembaga Tabung Haji, the Malaysian Hajj pilgrims fund board, in partnership with Gatehouse Bank, completed the £165 mln acquisition of the SJ Berwin offices at 10 Queen Street Place in London from Irish investor Jaguar Capital.
Dutch banks owed EUR 400m after developer's collapse - HET FINANCIEELE DAGBLAD
The bankruptcy of Dutch residential property developer Phanos has left EUR 400 mln of debt in its wake. The largest creditor is ABN Amro Bank, which is owed EUR 220 mln.
