Polish property group Echo Investment has presented details of a new office project to be developed in the city of Lodz. The Aurus building will be a 28,000- m[sup]2[/sup] modern class A office property to be opened at the turn of 2009 and 2010. The 10-storey asset is located in the new business centre of the city.

The Aurus building will be a 28,000- m2 modern class A office property to be opened at the turn of 2009 and 2010. The 10-storey asset is located in the new business centre of the city.
'Our main assumption in planning this investment was to adapt our offering to certain individual needs so that it meets both the expectations of global corporations and of smaller businesses,' said Rafal Mazurczak, director of the Offices Commercialization Department at Echo Investment.The property will comprise a canteen, bank outlet, fitness centre and medical centre as well as two carparks.
To date, Echo Investment has completed 10 office projects with a total area for rent of 100,000 m2 in four Polish cities. The company is currently involved in the development of two office complexes: Parku Postepu in Warsaw and Malta Office Park in Poznan and consecutive projects are being prepared in Gdansk, Szczecin, Krakow, Lodz, Katowice and Budapest, Hungary. The company said that it expects the gross lettable area of the planned projects to reach 270,000 m2.
Construction work will be carried out by Modzelewski & Rodek.
