Polish property company Echo Investment intends to develop a shopping and entertainment mall in the centre of the Polish town of Piotrkow Trybunalski, real estate newspaper Eurobuild has reported. The project covers a 80,000 m[sup]2[/sup] area with a 37,000 m[sup]2[/sup] gross lettable space. The centre will house 120 retail stores, a multiplex, recreation and catering facilities, and 1,200 parking spaces. Construction work is due to begin in 2007 and to be completed in 2009. The investment volume for the development was not disclosed.

The development will replace one of Echo’s existing shopping centre, which has been operating on a 18,200 m2 site since 2000. Its main tenants are Carrefour and Nomi.
