The new BahnhofCity will have a sales area of more than 20,000 m2. Construction is due to start next year. 'We want to offer our clients at Vienna Central Station a broad range of products and services - a perfect complement to the new city quarter which will be developed in this area,’ said Claus Stadler, CEO of ÖBB Immobilienmanagement.
This is the second project ECE has developed in Austria on behalf of the Austrian railway infrastructure group ÖBB-Infrastruktur Bau. The company is also involved in the development of the BahnhofCity Wien West.
ECE Projektmanagement develops, plans, realises, leases and manages shopping galleries. It currently manages around 100 centres.
