The brother of the current Dutch monarch and fourth in line to the Dutch throne, HRH Prince Constantijn, will officially launch Provada 2017 in Amsterdam at end-May.
In his capacity as Startup Envoy for StartupDelta2020, the Netherlands public-private partnership to promote start-up culture in the country, the Prince is closely involved in business innovation. His opening address will highlight the main theme of Provada 2017, 'Connecting the Future'.
'Innovation is crucial if we want to remain competitive, and that goes for the construction and property sectors, too. New ideas and innovative companies must be given a chance. It’s my hope that Provada Future will help make the real estate sector a laboratory for innovation,' Prince Constantijn commented.
At StartupDelta2020, the Prince has succeeded former Dutch minister and European commissioner Neelie Kroes, who served as startup ambassador until the middle of last year. He also advises the European Commission on entering new markets through research and innovation programmes.
Provada Future, a platform for trends and innovations in the construction and property sectors, was added to the event last year. Each day of the exhibition, publications, research and innovative projects are presented at this special platform which also hosts matchmaking meetups, masterclasses and networking events.
Provada takes place this year at the Amsterdam RAI on 30 and 31 May and 1 June 2017.
