Dunas Capital has announced the appointment of Miguel López Puche as head of Real Estate.
This new addition is part of the group's growth strategy in the real estate sector, where the firm has made investments in assets such as residential, hotels, retail and logistics.
With more than 20 years of experience, López Puche is an expert in the development of real estate projects and portfolios, as well as in team management and partner search. He has been tasked with defining and implementing growth strategies in the different real estate segments, activate the investment platforms with the incorporation of new investors and financing partners, as well as to promote their growth.
Before joining Dunas Capital, Puche was managing director and advisor in Spain of the real estate developer Aq-Acentor, where he participated in the configuration of a portfolio of more than 6,000 homes, several hotels with more than 1,200 rooms, office buildings, a commercial complex of 80,000 m2 of GLA and more than 1 million logistic metres.
Previously, he worked as managing director of Real Estate in Spain for the German asset management firm Aquila Capital. He has also occupied several management positions in companies such as Indra, 3C Capital Centro Comercial S.A. and Riofisa.
Dunas Capital is a major independent asset management platform for real estate and alternative assets in the Iberian market. The group recently sold the Intertur Hotels chain to Fattal Hotel Group for a total of €165 mln.
