The investment volume was not disclosed.
Duke Street, a pan-European buy-out firm, and real estate fund manager Europa Capital have owned Sandpiper since 2007.
One of the largest businesses on the Channel Islands, Sandpiper's portfolio includes 24 convenience, grocery and forecourt retail stores and operates 11 food and apparel brands through some 31 outlets under franchise.
